Using Active Learning in a Math Classroom!
If students like what they are doing they will be more likely to be able to understand it and apply it!

- This can be done many different ways
- Use of technology: such as smart boards, or programs such as Solveit! or Multimedia Courseware.
- The use of Explicit Instruction which includes
- Cueing/prompting students
- Model what the students should be doing
- Guided and non-guided practice
- Positive Reinforcement
- It is interactive and allows teachers to adapt their teaching routine while accommodating strengths and weaknesses of students.
